A Big Year for Passive Fire NZ – Reflecting on the Impact of 2025

It’s been a BIG year for Passive Fire NZ. Working on some of our biggest projects yet – and strengthening as a team. For many of the crew, today marks the last day of the working year – and our team is ready to rest and replenish over the summer break. We’ve smashed goals this year and we’re feeling proud.
This year, our work helped protect 6,145 lives across 120 projects throughout Aotearoa.
That impact was delivered through 53,000 hours on site and an average of 1,800 compliant installations every week.
These numbers aren’t about volume for volume’s sake.
They represent buildings that perform as designed, risks that are properly managed, and lives that are better protected because the details were done right.
We want to say a huge thank you, ngā mihi to those who have trusted us with their projects, our clients, partners and crew!
We’re incredibly proud of our work but, particularly at this time of the year, we’re reminded – that it is people that are most important. He iti tangata e tupu – he iti toki e iti tonu.
Let’s do it all over again in 2026!
Can’t wait.
Ngā mihi o te wā
