Passive Fire NZ on the Fairway: at Te Arai’s Luxury Villas

Over the years, the Passive Fire NZ team has honed our craft and mastered on-site techniques (other subbies often comment on how tidy our work is!) This makes us a good option when aesthetics really count. We’re always looking for better ways to innovate, to be faster, cleaner and meticulous in our work. So when it comes to beautiful buildings, our crew loves to show off.

Vivian Construction appointed Passive Fire NZ to do the fire-stopping for the six luxurious Te Arai Links Villas, located on the world-renowned North Course. Designed by studio john irving architects, these high-end, six-bedroom villas blend with the natural landscape, featuring weather-worn timber, sarked timber ceilings, concrete and stone.

We compliantly worked through all areas, hitting key milestones and passing all inspections in a timely manner resulting in the project being delivered on time and on budget.

Working in and amongst the natural environment requires a modern, innovative approach and Passive Fire NZ’s ISO Environment 14001 accreditation was a reassuring factor for the venue and ultimately, the guests who use the buildings.
