Victoria Residences


The Victoria Residences is a 24 level new build with over 140 apartments and 9 retail shops located directly across the road from the Sky Tower and Sky City Casino.


Project managed by our consultant, this new build was under construction at a time where the council had renewed its efforts to crack down on compliance.


Passive Fire NZ helped the client to meet compliance by providing expertise over and above installing solutions on site. PFNZ was also employed to bring the skills of on-site tradies up to speed and help them understand the requirements for fully compliant passive fire solutions.


We can train trades on passive fire to bring their skills and knowledge up to speed.

Pinesong – Metlifecare Retirement Village


Pinesong Village is a 5 level, 40 room retirement village in Titirangi, West Auckland.


Due to new testing and a good relationship with the suppliers, PFNZ saved the client time and cost by identifying non compliant plans. As the solutions accepted at consent stage were changed, so all previous designs had to be adapted quickly by our team.


PFNZ worked with the fire engineer & suppliers to come up with compliant solutions that best met the clients needs and resulted in an easy handover of PS4 documentation at the end of the job and excellent outcome for all.


As the retirement village was fully functional at the time of the project, PFNZ worked around noise and other functional constraints to accommodate residents.

Connect Anzac Apartments


The Connect Anzac Apartments are a 16 level apartment building in the heart of Auckland’s CBD.


Originally signed up to do metal pipes and alarm cables, sprinklers and slab edge, PFNZ took over all passive fire requirements after fixing remedial work on other trade’s firestopping.


We can fix remedial work or previous errors in firestopping.

Sylvia Park Offices


Sylvia Park Offices is a ten level office building in Mt Wellington, Auckland.


Due to facade defects the programme had fallen behind significantly when PFNZ came on board.


Our team worked in 24 hour rotating shifts, 7 days a week in order to complete the delayed work for the client.  


This site was also unique in that PFNZ was able to work with all stakeholders to come up with solutions for a system that hadn’t been tested at that time.


We can work with a client to deliver a project to a difficult timeline.

10 St Marks


Luxury apartments with retail; 8 stories with two levels of carpark across 3 buildings.


PFNZ brought a lot of value to this new build from the beginning, assisting the fire engineer in designing systems and coming up with innovative solutions that fit with the unique design of the building.


Our awareness of how to treat services to the tested standard, and the spacings required between services was of specific help, along with the education of other sub contractors on site.
